Hello, my name is Jose Hernandez, I've been detecting since 1974. I currently use a
Minelab Etrac with a Sun Ray Target Probe. My reason for this email is to share an accessory I had made to protect the expensive Sun Ray Probe. I live in Oregon and everyone knows it rains quite a bit. I had my neighbor make a custom cover for my detector and I'd like to share with other detecting folks who use a Minelab Detector with a Sun Ray Probe.
This is made of Sports Nylon with a plastic liner sewn into the inside, it secures with Velcro and elastic and will keep you electronic probe box clean and dry. It will also fit an Explorer all types, Safari, and Quattro, it is professionally made (looks good) and beats wrapping plastic around the box to keep it dry. Will work for left or right swing. I've included some pictures of it. If they don't appear just ask and I'll send some.
If you don't mind, would you please let your club members know about this.
I can send pictures if you like.
The cost of the cover is $17.00 shipping included in the USA. If any of your members are interested they can email me at goldminer@hughes.net

Ralf – Our club meets at 7pm at the Dunham Library in Whitesboro, NY the last Monday of every month. The exceptions are May & October, when we meet at 7pm at the Rome Senior Center. I think Jerry retired but I'm not positive.

To whom it may concern,
This email is just to let you know that the ProHandle (a hit at the 2009 Daytona Shootout!) is on sale now! It is used on sand/water scoops and shovels to save your back for beach and relic hunting. It eliminates bending when digging up your target. The ProHandle is used by many government, state and city agencies.
Billy Mays made this amazing commercial a week prior to his untimely passing. They are testing the commercial and have been running a promotion for the past 2 weeks; however, the test period will be over tomorrow! I hope you will at least view the commercial so that you can make an informed decision and subsequently won't miss out on the deal.
Please go to www.buyprohandle.com and you will see this amazing commercial and the "Buy One - Get One Free" offer. Regularly $19.95 each, you can now buy one for ONLY $14.95 and get the second FREE!
The ProHandle is used for many household chores as well, so I am sure you will find a great benefit in keeping one for the home. After all, you get one free! I must stress that the sale is over tomorrow though orders would be taken over the weekend.
There are some posts out there including one from Big Larry in the Sand and Surf forum of The Treasure Depot.com describing the satisfaction he has received over the past 4 months in using our product!
I hope you can spread the word to your membership but you need to act fast because the promo is over tomorrow.
Please forward this email to your general membership.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Frank Saladino

I just wanted to say "great job" on that library display I saw in the recent issue of W & ET mag.
You folks have an outstanding active club there. I wish we had one like yours in the Raleigh NC area.

I was told to contact you as I have a used Tesoro Tiger Shark I am interested in selling. I bought it a couple years ago but have not had the time to put it to good use as work has become my life at this point. It is still in excellent working condition. Breaks down for transport and coil is in good condition. This is the one that can be used in water as well. I am located in Massena, NY but could arrange for pickup in Frankfort as my in-laws live there. That would save postage. If there any members interested in buying this, please feel free to contact me at the above email. My asking price is $300 and shipping could happen as well if it is more convenient (buyer pays actual shipping charges). Thanks for reading

We are a computer recycling company (www.dkrecycling.com)and former members of the club. We have recieved a few sets of (new in box)Pro Series Headphones that would work well with metal detectors.
We would like to give them to the club to raffle off at meets or use them as prizes.
Please email us and let us know who we could contact to get these in the right hands.
Thanks.

Very professional site. Purchased my first White's in 1976 and a second in 1983. Since then have moved around the US and discontinued the hobby. However, my travels have brought me back to CNY so I plan on reacquainting myself with the hobby. Some of my "best" finds were found in carefully researched fields (former horse racing track in Illinois) wihout a detector. Walked the field after an especially heavy rain and found an 1876 seated lib. quarter on the surface.
